This turns into a parking lot on the weekdays.

So when the guidebook says a beach is "secluded" or "private", that means it's nude. This one was very secluded.

This is the western-most point in Europe, so it has tons of tour groups visiting.

This was not safe at all. The "public" rope that we're using was in horrible shape had been tied back together a half-dozen times. But we were so close to the bottom we couldn't turn back.

This was at the Moorish fort in Sintra. I want one of these in my backyard.

It was pouring rain from the second we got here, which sucked. Half the castle is cool outdoor parapets and awesome views, so we missed out on that.

This was really unsettling. All the walls were covered with bones some monks dug up from the local cemeteries.
